Gun Lake Scooters Product Returns/Exchanges

We expect that our customers will select their motorcycle safety clothing carefully, consulting the sizing charts in our listings and/or the manufacturer's websites.  In general, we consider all sales to be final and don't normally allow returns or exchanges.  

In the interest of customer satisfaction, we will make the following exceptions:

  1. Exchange for any product with an as-received product defect.
  2. Exchange for an identical product for a larger or smaller size.

We must be notified by phone or email within 5 days of product delivery of your need for an exchange.  We do not make any exchange for a different color or a different product.

Product Return Conditions

All products must be returned in a new, never used condition with all original packaging and all attached hang tags in place.  When received, products will be inspected to ensure they can be sold as new.  Buyer will be notified if any discrepancies exist with condition.

Return Shipment

Product must be shipped at Buyer's expense using method of their selection.  U. S. Postal Service Parcel Post is usually the least expensive method; this is left completely up to the Buyer.

Restocking Fee

A 12% restocking fee will be charged for all returned items.  This standard fee applies to helmets from Small - Extra Large, Jackets and Pants from Small through Extra Large and standard inseam Pants.

A 15% restocking fee will be charged for certain items.  This optional fee applies to helmets XS, 2XS, 2XL, 3XL, all Jackets & Pants 2XL and larger, all Tall or Short Pants, Tall Jackets and all gloves and boots.

Replacement Shipment

After the item is received and inspected, arrangements are made for shipping the replacement item.  

A flat $10.00 UPS shipping charge is assessed to all single item replacements. 

In the case of Canadian customer returns, we will charge a flat $18.00 to cover return shipment with United States Postal Service Priority Mail International.

Payment

The buyer will be sent a Paypal bill at the time the replacement product is ready for shipment which will include the Restocking fee and Replacement Shipment fee.
